This fitting is manufactured from lead free brass and meets strict potable water standards, making it a reliable choice for residential and commercial plumbing systems. The wetted surface contains less than 0.25% lead by weight, satisfying both California AB1953 and Vermont VT S152 low-lead restrictions. Once installed, the fitting is immediately testable to well over 100 psi, allowing installers to verify system integrity without waiting.
