The SHARKBITE UC248LFA is a 1/2-inch PEX barb elbow fitting designed to connect PEX tubing at a 90-degree angle in potable water and hydronic heating systems. Constructed from lead-free DZR brass, this fitting offers reliable corrosion resistance in both hot and cold water applications. The barbed design creates a secure mechanical connection when used with either a stainless steel clamp system or a copper crimp ring system. Clamps and crimp rings are sold separately. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during new construction, remodels, and system repairs where PEX tubing is the distribution pipe of choice.

This elbow fitting is suited for residential and light commercial potable water distribution lines as well as hydronic radiant heating systems. It performs in applications where a directional change is needed at a branch point or along a run of PEX tubing. Compatibility

Installation Notes
