The SHARKBITE UC120LFA is a PEX barb threaded male adapter designed for connecting PEX tubing to NPT-threaded pipe or fittings. Constructed from lead-free DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, this adapter offers a reliable, code-compliant connection in both potable water and hydronic heating systems. One end features a barbed fitting that accepts a stainless steel clamp system or a copper crimp ring system (each sold separately), while the other end is threaded MNPT for a secure mechanical connection. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting as a low-cost, straightforward transition point between PEX tubing runs and threaded components.

This adapter is suited for residential and light commercial potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications. Installation Notes
