The SharkBite UAB22462LFA is a 3/4 inch PEX-A x 3/4 inch brass expansion ball valve engineered for potable water distribution systems. Built from lead-free dezincification resistant brass, this valve delivers reliable shutoff performance in residential and light commercial plumbing applications. The expansion-style connection requires a PEX expansion tool and compatible expansion rings to seat the fitting properly into PEX-A pipe. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this valve where a full-port ball valve and a PEX-A termination are needed in the same fitting body, reducing the number of transition joints in a system.

This valve is designed exclusively for use with PEX-A pipe and PEX expansion rings. It is not compatible with PEX-B or PEX-C pipe, nor with push-to-connect or crimp-style fittings.
