The SHARKBITE CASH ACME UA23102A25 is a plastic PEX-A expansion sleeve designed for use with 1/2 inch PEX-A pipe in potable water systems. Sold in a 25-pack, these sleeves work in conjunction with a PEX expansion tool and compatible expansion rings to form a mechanical connection that tightens over time as the pipe contracts back to its original memory. The UA23102A25 is approved for water service line installations and is rated for direct burial applications, including encasement in concrete. Licensed plumbers and experienced pipe fitters install these sleeves as part of expansion-style PEX-A fittings systems.

These sleeves are suited for residential and light commercial plumbing rough-in work, water service laterals, and underground distribution lines where a reliable, long-term joint is required. Because PEX-A has the highest flexibility and shape-memory characteristics of all PEX grades, the expansion method produces a joint that becomes more secure as the expanded pipe collar recovers. Installation Notes
