Product Description

The SHARKBITE CASH ACME U860W10 is a 1/2-inch CTS (Copper Tube Size) PEX-B stick pipe in white, sold as a 10-foot rigid length for hot and cold potable water distribution. Manufactured using the Type B silane cross-linking method, this pipe carries elevated antioxidant and thermal stabilizer content, which supports performance in chlorinated water systems and recirculation loops. Burst pressure is rated at 1,100 psi at 73 degrees F and 375 psi at 180 degrees F, meeting ASTM SDR-9 dimensional standards. It is NSF-61, FDA, CSA, ASTM, and UPC listed for drinking water use. Licensed plumbers install this product in residential and light commercial water supply applications.

The U860W10 is designed for use in hot and cold water supply systems in residential and light commercial construction. It is compatible with 1/2-inch quick-connect and brass PEX insert fittings. The Type B designation refers to the silane cross-linking manufacturing method, a European production classification, and is not a performance grade relative to Type A or Type C. Its antioxidant and thermal stabilizer package makes it well suited for recirculation systems where sustained elevated temperatures and chlorinated water chemistry are present. The white jacket color is standard for general water service identification.
