The SHARKBITE U712A is a 3/4 inch disconnect clip designed for use with SharkBite push-fit fittings in residential and commercial plumbing systems. It allows technicians to release push-fit connections quickly without damaging the fitting or the pipe. Constructed of DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, the U712A is rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F. It is certified to ASSE 1061 and NSF 61 standards and meets UPC, IPC, and CUPC requirements. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this clip as part of routine service, repair, and repipe work where SharkBite push-fit connections are used.

The U712A is compatible with SharkBite push-fit fittings used on copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX pipe with an integral tube liner included. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before disconnecting any push-fit fitting.
