The SHARKBITE U710A is a 1/2-inch disconnect clip designed for use with SharkBite push-fit fittings. It provides a fast, tool-free method for releasing push-fit connections without damaging the fitting or the pipe. Constructed from DZR brass, the U710A is rated to 200 PSI and 200 degrees F, making it suitable for both potable and hydronic water distribution systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters use this clip during repairs, replacements, or system modifications where push-fit fittings need to be removed cleanly and reused.

The U710A disconnect clip is compatible with SharkBite push-fit fittings on copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX pipe with integral tube liner included. Installation Notes

Installation and removal should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC or UPC code requirements. Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure before disconnecting any fitting. Slide the disconnect clip around the pipe and into the fitting collar, then pull the pipe free. Inspect the pipe end and fitting O-ring before reconnecting.
