The SHARKBITE U520LFA is a 1-inch lead-free push-fit endstop designed to terminate water lines quickly and without soldering. Constructed from DZR brass, the fitting accepts a push-to-connect installation that locks onto copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX pipe. An integral tube liner is included to support PEX and CPVC during insertion. The U520LFA is rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F, meeting the pressure and temperature demands of residential and light commercial potable and hydronic water distribution systems. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting where a permanent or serviceable line termination is required.

The U520LFA is suited for residential and commercial plumbing applications including potable water supply lines, hydronic heating systems, and underground installations. Because it is certified as a manufactured joint, no access panel is required when installed underground. The push-fit design eliminates the need for flux, solder, clamps, or crimping tools, making it practical for new construction, remodel, and repair work. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers in accordance with the IPC, UPC, or applicable local plumbing code. Before installing or removing any fitting, shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure completely. Ensure pipe ends are cut square, deburred, and cleaned to the depth mark before insertion. For underground installations, follow local code requirements for burial depth and backfill.
