Product Description

The SHARKBITE U514LFA is a 1/2 inch lead free push fit endstop constructed of DZR brass. It is designed to terminate water lines in copper CTS, CPVC, and PEX tubing systems without soldering, crimping, or special tools. An integral tube liner is included to support PEX tubing during installation. Rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F, this fitting meets the demands of both potable and hydronic water distribution applications. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors install this fitting in residential and light commercial plumbing systems where a clean, code-compliant line termination is required.

The U514LFA is suited for residential and commercial plumbing rough-in work, remodeling projects, and repair applications. Its push fit design allows quick installation in tight spaces where torch access is limited or restricted. The fitting is certified for underground applications as a manufactured joint, eliminating the need for access panels at buried connections. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before fitting installation. Ensure tubing ends are cut square, deburred, and clean before insertion into the push fit socket. For PEX tubing, confirm the integral tube liner is properly seated before pushing the tube to full insertion depth.
