The SharkBite U362LFA4 is a 1/2-inch push-to-connect tee fitting sold in a 4-pack, designed for fast, tool-free connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The fitting accepts copper, CPVC, or PEX pipe in any combination across its three ports, eliminating the need for soldering, clamps, unions, or solvent cement. Inside each fitting, stainless steel teeth grip the pipe on insertion while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to form a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated after assembly, which is a practical advantage when working in confined spaces. A disconnect tool allows the fitting to be removed and reused if the run needs to change.
The U362LFA4 tee is suited for potable water supply lines and hydronic heating systems. Plumbers and pipe mechanics reach for push-to-connect fittings when working in retrofit conditions, tight framing bays, or any situation where open flame is not an option. The 4-pack format supports service calls and multi-connection rough-in work where several tees may be needed at once. No special training or certification is required to install the fitting, but work should always comply with applicable local plumbing codes.
Certified for potable water supply and hydronic heating applications. Connects copper, CPVC, or PEX pipe in any combination at the 1/2-inch size.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipe mechanics in accordance with local plumbing codes. Before beginning work, shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure. Pipe ends must be cut square, deburred, and cleaned before insertion to ensure the O-ring seats correctly and the stainless steel teeth engage fully. Use the manufacturer disconnect tool to remove the fitting if repositioning or reuse is required — do not attempt removal without the proper tool.
