The SHARKBITE U3482LFA is a 1/2-inch x 1/2-inch x 1/2-inch lead-free center slip tee fitting designed for push-fit installation in potable and hydronic water distribution systems. Constructed from DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, this fitting delivers reliable performance rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F. The female iron pipe (FIP) center outlet and push-fit end connections allow for fast, tool-free assembly on compatible tubing types. An integral tube liner is included for use with PEX tubing. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in both new construction and retrofit applications where access panels are not desired.

This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing installations. It is compatible with copper tubing (copper tube size), CPVC, and PEX with the included integral tube liner. The push-fit design eliminates the need for soldering, crimping tools, or clamps at the push-fit connections, making it well-suited for tight spaces and underground applications where a manufactured joint is permitted without an access panel. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers in accordance with the IPC, UPC, or applicable local plumbing code. Shut off and depressurize the water supply before cutting into any existing line. Ensure tubing ends are cut square, deburred, and clean before inserting into push-fit connections. For PEX installations, insert the included tube liner fully into the tubing end before making the connection.
