The SHARKBITE CASH ACME U3088FLEX12LF is a 3/4-inch female iron pipe (FIP) x 12-inch braided water heater connector designed for residential and light commercial plumbing installations. The flexible connector features a stainless steel braid over the hose body with push-fit ends constructed of DZR brass. It is rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F, and includes an integral tube liner. The push-fit end accepts copper tubing, CPVC, and PEX without soldering, cementing, or threading, making connection fast and repeatable for licensed plumbers and experienced service technicians.

This connector is used to link a water heater to the potable water supply line in residential and commercial applications. The 3/4-inch FIP thread on one end connects to the water heater nipple or shutoff valve while the push-fit end slides onto the supply tube. The 12-inch flexible length accommodates minor misalignment between the heater and the supply rough-in. Installation Notes
