Product Description

The SHARKBITE U260LFA is a 1-inch lead free push fit 90-degree elbow designed for fast, tool-free connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Constructed from DZR brass, this fitting handles working pressures up to 200 psi and temperatures up to 200 degrees F. An integral tube liner is included to support the pipe end and maintain a secure seal. The U260LFA is certified lead free in compliance with Federal Law 111-380 and is design certified to ASSE 1061 and NSF 61 standards. Each package contains 3 fittings sold as a unit.

This elbow is compatible with copper tubing, CPVC, and PEX pipe in 1-inch copper tube size. It is suited for potable water and hydronic water distribution applications. The fitting is certified for underground installations as a manufactured joint, eliminating the need for an access panel. Typical applications include branch line connections, reroutes, and repairs in residential water distribution systems where soldering or crimping is not practical or desired.

Installation Notes
