The SHARKBITE U248LFA is a 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch push-fit 90-degree elbow fitting constructed from dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass. It connects to copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX pipe without soldering, crimping, or threading. An integral tube liner is included to support PEX connections. Rated to 200 PSI and 200 degrees F, this fitting meets the pressure and temperature demands of residential and light commercial potable water and hydronic distribution systems. Licensed plumbers and pipe fitters install it as a fast, code-compliant solution where directional changes are needed in supply lines. This package contains 24 fittings.

The U248LFA is suited for residential and commercial plumbing applications including domestic cold and hot water supply, hydronic heating distribution, and in-wall or underground piping. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting and fitting. Pipe ends must be cut cleanly and squarely and deburred before insertion into the push-fit collar. Verify that the correct pipe type and outside diameter are confirmed before assembly, as improper pipe OD will result in a failed seal.
