The SHARKBITE U244LFA is a lead-free push-fit elbow fitting designed for fast, tool-free connections in residential and commercial plumbing systems. Constructed from DZR brass, this 1/4-inch elbow is rated to 200 PSI and 200 degrees F, making it suitable for both hot and cold potable water distribution as well as hydronic heating applications. An integral tube liner is included, supporting reliable push-fit engagement across compatible tubing types. Installation requires no soldering, crimping, or special tools, which makes it a go-to fitting for licensed plumbers working on repairs, retrofits, or new construction.

This fitting is suited for use with copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX tubing. The integral tube liner is required for PEX installations and is included with each fitting. Installation Notes
