The SHARKBITE U140LFA is a 1-inch by 1-inch male iron pipe (MIP) push-fit straight connector designed for fast, tool-free connections in water distribution systems. Constructed from DZR brass, this fitting is rated to 200 PSI and 200 degrees F, making it suitable for both cold and hot water supply lines. The push-fit design includes an integral tube liner, eliminating the need for soldering, clamps, or crimping tools. The U140LFA is compatible with copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX pipe. Installation Notes
