The SHARKBITE U094LFA is a 1 inch x 1 inch female iron pipe (FIP) straight connector designed for push-fit installation without soldering, crimping, or clamps. Constructed from dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass, this fitting is rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F, making it suitable for both potable water and hydronic distribution systems. The integral tube liner is included, supporting use with copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX pipe. It ships in a package of 3 fittings and is lead free compliant under Federal Law 111-380. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters rely on this connector for fast, code-compliant connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
The U094LFA is used in residential and commercial water distribution applications where a reliable FIP-to-pipe transition is needed. Its push-fit design reduces labor time on new construction and retrofit jobs alike. The included integral tube liner ensures a proper seal when used with PEX or CPVC, eliminating the need for a separate insert. This fitting is listed with IAPMO and certified for use on potable and hydronic systems. It is also certified for underground applications as a manufactured joint, removing the requirement for access panels in buried installations.
Designed for use with copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX pipe in 1 inch nominal size. Suitable for potable water and hydronic water distribution systems. The integral tube liner supports PEX and CPVC connections without a separate fitting insert.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the IPC, UPC, or cUPC requirements applicable to the local jurisdiction. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before installing or removing any push-fit fitting. Ensure pipe ends are cut square, deburred, and cleaned before insertion to achieve a proper seal. Do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature limits of 200 psi and 200 degrees F.
