The SharkBite U072LFA4 is a 1/2 inch female NPT (FNPT) x 1/2 inch push-to-connect fitting sold in a 4-pack. Stainless steel teeth grip the pipe on insertion while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to form a watertight seal — no soldering, clamps, unions, or glue required.
