The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME U006LFA is a 3/8-inch by 3/8-inch lead-free straight coupling designed for push-fit installation without solvents, open flame, or specialized tooling. Constructed from DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, this fitting is rated to 200 PSI and 200 degrees F. It includes an integral tube liner and connects copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX pipe in a single fitting design. Certified to ASSE 1061 and NSF 61 standards, it meets UPC, IPC, and CUPC requirements and is listed with IAPMO for potable and hydronic water distribution systems. Each box contains 12 fittings.

The U006LFA is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where a reliable, tool-free straight connection is needed. Common uses include water supply lines, repair splices, and distribution runs in tight spaces where soldering is impractical. The fitting is certified for underground installations as a manufactured joint and does not require an access panel, making it appropriate for in-slab or in-wall repairs. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified trades working under applicable IPC or UPC codes. Cut pipe square and deburr the end before insertion to ensure a full, leak-free seat. Power down any associated pump or water heater and shut off the supply valve before beginning work. Do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature limits of 200 PSI and 200 degrees F.
