The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME K016A is a 3/4-inch x 3/4-inch EvoPex push-only-to-connect coupling designed for fast, tool-free PEX pipe connections in residential plumbing systems. Made from Acudel plastic, this fitting delivers chemical resistance, anti-decay stability, and dimensional stability without the need for soldering, glue, crimping, or specialty rings. A green visual indicator on the fitting confirms a proper, leak-free seat once the pipe is fully inserted. Licensed plumbers and journeymen plumbers install this type of fitting on PEX supply lines throughout new construction and retrofit applications. Each order includes 6 couplings.

The K016A is suited for residential water distribution systems where PEX tubing is the pipe of choice. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing code and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting and fitting. Cut PEX pipe cleanly and squarely — a deburred, round pipe end is required for a proper seat and to trigger the green visual indicator. Do not use this fitting with pipe types other than those specified by the manufacturer.
