The SharkBite K008A6 is a 6-pack of 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch EvoPEX push-to-connect couplings designed exclusively for PEX pipe installations. Each coupling connects without solvents, solder, glue, crimping rings, or specialty tools, making them a fast rough-in solution for residential plumbing. The fittings are molded from Acudel plastic, a material selected for its toughness, chemical resistance, anti-decay stability, and dimensional stability under varying temperatures and pressures. A green visual indicator on each fitting confirms a proper, leak-free seat once the pipe is fully inserted. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified PEX installer. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting and fitting. Cut PEX pipe cleanly and squarely — a deburred, straight cut is required for a proper seal. Push the pipe fully into the fitting until the green visual indicator confirms seating; inspect the indicator before restoring pressure.
