The SHARKBITE CASH ACME FIPS3838Z is a quarter turn, full-port brass ball valve configured with a 3/8-inch female iron pipe (FIP) inlet and a 3/8-inch OD compression outlet. The valve is designed to control water supply to fixtures such as ice makers, toilets, and faucets. Its straight inline body accepts a standard pipe thread connection on the supply side and a compression fitting on the outlet side. Plumbers and plumbing contractors install this valve where a reliable, low-profile shutoff is required at the point of fixture connection.
