The SHARKBITE CASH ACME COMPA1212Z is a quarter-turn full-port brass ball angle valve with compression connections on both ends. It accepts 1/2-inch compression inlet (5/8-inch OD pipe) and a 1/2-inch compression outlet, making it a compact shutoff solution for residential plumbing supply lines. The valve body is brass construction, and the quarter-turn ball mechanism allows fast, positive shutoff without tools. Installation uses the included compression nut and ferrule tightened with a wrench. This angle valve is designed for residential water supply applications including ice makers, toilets, and faucets. Slide the compression nut and ferrule onto the pipe before inserting the pipe into the valve body, then tighten the compression nut firmly with a wrench — do not overtighten, as this can deform the ferrule and cause a leak. After installation, restore water pressure slowly and inspect the compression joints for leaks before closing the access area.
