The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME UP412A10 is a poly alloy barb insert tee fitting designed for use with cross-link polyethylene (PEX) tubing in hot and cold water distribution systems. Sized at 3/4 inches by 3/4 inches by 1/2 inches, this fitting uses a barbed insert design that is secured with copper crimp rings or a cinch clamp tool. The poly alloy construction replaces traditional brass PEX insert fittings to comply with California AB1953 and Vermont S152 low-lead laws. Each pack contains 10 fittings. Once crimped, fittings can be pressure tested to well over 100 psi immediately, making job-site verification fast and straightforward. Licensed plumbers and PEX installers are the primary trade for this fitting.

This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial potable water systems using cross-link polyethylene tubing.
