Each clamp features a pure copper fastening ring that cinches tightly around PEX tubing to form a leak-free connection. The connections are made with NSF-listed brass inserts, making them suitable for potable water systems. Each fitting can be tested to well over 100 psi immediately after installation, eliminating wait time before pressure verification. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install these clamps using a dedicated cinch tool, such as the True Value 608-743.
