Product Description

The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME UC408LFA is a lead-free brass barb PEX tee fitting designed for use in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. It creates a 3/4-inch branch off a 1/2-inch by 1/2-inch run, allowing plumbers to split or redirect PEX tubing lines without soldering or threading. The fitting is manufactured from brass and meets the lead-free threshold of less than 0.25 percent lead by weight on wetted surfaces. Connections are made using stainless steel cinch clamps installed with a compatible cinch tool. The UC408LFA is sold in a package of 12 units, making it practical for multi-fixture rough-in work.

This fitting is used in potable water distribution systems where PEX tubing is the pipe material of choice. Installation Notes
