The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME UC134LFA10 is a lead-free brass barb insert adapter designed to connect 3/4-inch PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) tubing to a 3/4-inch female iron pipe thread (FIPT) end or fitting. Sold in a 10-pack, this adapter is rated for immediate pressure testing well over 100 psi without waiting for adhesive or solder to cure. The barb end secures to the PEX pipe using compatible cinch clamps with a cinch tool, or standard copper crimp rings with a crimp tool. The lead-free brass construction meets NSF/ANSI 14-2009, ASTM F1807, and ANSI/NSF 61 Annex G standards.
