The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME U3020LFA is a 1-inch by 1-inch lead-free slip coupling designed for push-fit installation without solvents, crimps, or open flame. Constructed from DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, this fitting resists corrosion in aggressive water conditions and is rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F. The push-fit mechanism allows a licensed plumber to complete the connection quickly during rough-in or repair work, reducing labor time on tight or confined repairs. This package contains 3 couplings and is sold bagged for easy jobsite handling.

The U3020LFA is suited for residential and light commercial potable water and hydronic water distribution systems. It is compatible with copper tubing (copper tube size) and CPVC pipe. The slip-coupling design is particularly useful for in-line pipe repairs where a section of pipe must be removed and replaced without cutting additional length. It is certified for underground applications as a manufactured joint, eliminating the need for access panels in those installations.

Installation Notes
