The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME U276LFA is a lead-free dishwasher elbow fitting designed for push-fit installation on copper, CPVC, and PEX tubing. It connects a 1/4 inch push-fit inlet to a 3/8 inch male iron pipe (MIP) outlet, making it a go-to fitting for dishwasher supply line hookups in residential plumbing applications. Constructed from DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, the fitting includes an integral tube liner and is rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers install this fitting without soldering, crimping, or threading on the push-fit end, reducing labor time at the appliance connection point.
This elbow is used in residential kitchen plumbing where a dishwasher supply line must transition from a push-fit copper, CPVC, or PEX branch to a threaded MIP connection. The push-fit end accepts standard copper tube size tubing, and the integral liner is included to support PEX and CPVC installations. It is sold bagged in a package quantity of 6, suitable for stocking service vans or completing multi-unit jobs. The fitting is certified for use on both potable and hydronic water distribution systems and is approved for underground applications as a manufactured joint without the need for an access panel.
Designed for use with copper tubing (copper tube size), CPVC, and PEX. The push-fit end is compatible with standard copper tube size dimensions. Certified for potable and hydronic water distribution systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes referencing the IPC or UPC. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before making any connections. The push-fit end requires clean, square-cut, deburred tubing inserted to full depth; use the included integral liner when connecting CPVC or PEX. Do not exceed the rated pressure and temperature limits of 200 psi and 200 degrees F.
