The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME 24983A is a service tee stop designed to let plumbers tap into existing supply lines and add fixtures or appliances without cutting and soldering. It uses push-fit technology for fast, tool-free connections on the final phase of a plumbing rough-in or retrofit. The tee measures 1/2 inch inlet by 1/2 inch outlet by 1/4 inch branch and includes an integrated stop valve on the branch port. Sold in a package of 6 units, it is well suited for service calls and new construction where multiple connections are required in a single visit.

This tee stop is used in residential and light commercial plumbing applications where a secondary fixture or appliance — such as a refrigerator ice maker, reverse osmosis filter, or similar low-flow device — needs to be added to an existing 1/2 inch supply line.
