The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME 24636LF is a 12-inch frost-free sillcock with a push-to-connect anti-siphon design intended for outdoor water supply service. The inlet accepts 1/2-inch push-to-connect piping and the outlet terminates in a 3/4-inch male hose thread. The forged body provides structural durability, and the multi-turn shutoff valve is positioned at the inlet end of the stem to drain residual water from the barrel when the valve closes, reducing freeze exposure. An integrated air gap backflow prevention system guards against back siphonage at the hose connection. Licensed plumbers and journeymen typically install this fitting during new construction or sillcock replacement projects.

This sillcock is suited for residential and light commercial exterior wall installations where freeze protection is required.
