The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME 24632LF is a 45-degree multi hose bibb designed for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where hose kinking at the outlet connection is a recurring service issue. The valve accepts either a 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch push-to-connect inlet and terminates at a 3/4-inch male hose thread (MHT) outlet. The 45-degree body angle redirects the hose path away from the wall, eliminating the tight bend that causes kinking at the spigot. The forged body construction provides durability under repeated quarter-turn and multi-turn cycling. Installed by licensed plumbers or journeyman-level tradespeople, this bibb ships in a package quantity of 6.
This hose bibb is suited for exterior wall installations, utility rooms, and mechanical spaces where a standard straight bibb creates hose management problems. The push-to-connect inlet eliminates soldering or crimping at rough-in, making it compatible with copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE-RT pipe without additional fittings or transition couplings. The integrated mounting flange secures the valve body directly to the wall surface, reducing movement and stress on the inlet connection during hose attachment and removal. Both quarter-turn and multi-turn operation modes allow the installer or end user to regulate flow as the application requires.
Inlet is compatible with copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE-RT pipes via push-to-connect connection. Outlet connects to standard 3/4-inch male hose thread fittings and hose assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting in or disconnecting any existing bibb. Push-to-connect inlets require that pipe ends be cut square, deburred, and fully seated to the depth mark before pressurizing. Verify the mounting flange is fastened securely to a structural surface to prevent stress cracking at the inlet over time.
