Product Description

The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME 24616-0000LFA is a 3/4 inch lead-free ball valve with integrated drain port, designed for push-fit installation without soldering or special tools. Constructed from DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, it is rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F, making it suitable for both potable water and hydronic distribution systems. An integral tube liner is included for use with PEX tubing. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this valve in residential and light commercial water distribution applications where a shutoff and drain point is required in a single fitting.

This valve is engineered for push-fit connection to copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX. It is appropriate for residential and commercial water supply lines where a serviceable shutoff with drain capability is needed. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with IPC and applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before installing or removing the valve. Push-fit connections require tubing to be cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs; a deburring tool and pipe cutter are recommended. Do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature limits of 200 psi and 200 degrees F.
