The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME 23382LF is a 3/8-inch brass barb insert by 3/8-inch brass barb insert straight stop ball valve designed for use on cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing systems. Finished in chrome plating, it features a 1/4-turn lever handle for quick shutoff with a single motion. The valve is compatible with cinch clamp and copper crimp ring installation methods, and once crimped, each fitting can be immediately pressure-tested to well over 100 psi. This valve is typically installed by licensed plumbers on residential PEX supply systems where individual fixture or appliance shutoffs are required.

This straight stop valve is intended for PEX tubing applications where a compact, reliable in-line shutoff is needed. It is sold in a package of 6 units, making it practical for multi-fixture rough-in work. Installation requires either TV 608-685 cinch clamps with cinch tool TV 608-743, or standard copper crimp rings and a compatible crimp tool. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber using either a cinch clamp tool or a copper crimp ring tool rated for PEX connections. Inspect all connections visually before restoring pressure, and confirm no leaks are present during the initial pressure test.
