Product Description

The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME 22463LFA is a lead-free, full-port ball valve designed for use with 1-inch PEX tubing. It features a 1-inch brass PEX barb inlet and a 1-inch brass PEX barb outlet, connected using stainless steel C clamps and a C tool. The quarter-turn design allows fast shutoff with minimal effort. This valve is built to SDR-9 dimensional standards per ASTM F-876 and ASTM F-877, and is certified under NSF 14 and NSF 61 for potable water applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this valve in both residential and light commercial PEX distribution systems.

This valve is suited for potable water supply lines, hot and cold distribution loops, and recirculating hot water systems. It is NSF Cl-R certified for use in hot water systems where chlorinated water up to 140 degrees F is continuously recirculated. The full-port bore minimizes flow restriction, making it a practical choice for main branch shutoffs and zone isolation in PEX-based plumbing systems. Sold in a bag pack of 6 units per package.

Installation Notes
