The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME 22461LFA is a lead free brass ball valve designed for use in PEX tubing systems secured with stainless steel cinch clamps. It features a 1/2 inch barb insert inlet and a 1/2 inch barb insert outlet, a quarter-turn lever handle for fast shutoff, and a wetted surface lead content of less than 0.25 percent by weight. The valve body is brass construction and meets strict low-lead standards, making it suitable for potable water service in residential and light commercial plumbing installations. Licensed plumbers install this valve during PEX rough-in or repair work where a reliable inline shutoff is required.

This ball valve is intended for use with PEX tubing connected using stainless steel cinch clamps installed with a compatible cinch tool such as the TV 608-743. It conforms to ASTM F-876 and ASTM F-877 to SDR-9 dimensional standards and carries NSF 14 and NSF 61 listings for potable water systems.
