The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME 24615-0000LFA is a 1/2 inch lead-free ball valve with integral drain, designed for push-fit installation on copper tubing CTS, CPVC, and PEX systems. Constructed from DZR brass, it handles working pressures up to 200 psi at temperatures up to 200 degrees F without soldering or special tools. An integral tube liner is included to ensure a reliable seal on PEX tubing. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors install this valve where a shutoff with drain capability is needed, such as isolation points on water distribution branches, appliance supply lines, or winterization drain-down locations.

This valve is suited for residential and commercial potable water and hydronic water distribution systems. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with IPC, UPC, or locally adopted plumbing codes.
