The SharkBite 22441LF is a lead-free water heater connection kit designed for fast, reliable hookup of residential and light commercial water heaters. The kit uses SharkBite push-fit technology on one end and a 3/4-inch NPT threaded connection on the other, eliminating the need for soldering or specialty tools. Constructed of DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, the fittings are rated to 200 PSI and 200 degrees F. An integral tube liner is included for use with PEX tubing. This kit is appropriate for licensed plumbers and experienced tradespeople performing water heater installations or replacements.

This kit is suited for residential and light commercial water heater installations where a quick, code-compliant connection is required. The push-fit end accepts copper tubing (CTS), CPVC, and PEX with the included tube liner, making it compatible with the most common pipe materials found in the field. Installation Notes

When connecting to PEX, confirm the integral tube liner is properly seated inside the tubing end prior to insertion.
