The SGS PRO 19030 is a solid carbide rotary bur with an SC-6NF industry specification, designed for material removal and deburring in metalworking and fabrication applications. The bur features a cylinder with radius end head shape and an Aluma Cut tooth style, which is optimized for fast, efficient cutting in aluminum and other non-ferrous metals with reduced loading and clogging. The 1/4 inch shank fits standard die grinders and rotary tools. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers consistent cutting performance and long service life in production and maintenance environments.
This bur is used in metal fabrication, aerospace, automotive, and general machining shops where precise material removal, contouring, or deburring is required. The SC-6NF geometry and Aluma Cut flute pattern make it well suited for aluminum, brass, copper, and similar soft metals. It installs in pneumatic or electric die grinders, flex-shaft tools, and rotary handpieces. The 5/8 inch cutting diameter and 1 inch length of cut accommodate medium-scale work on castings, weld zones, and machined surfaces.
Designed as a standard SC-6NF specification rotary bur compatible with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 1/4 inch shank collet.
Installation is performed by machinists, fabricators, and tool and die professionals using die grinders or rotary handpieces. Ensure the tool is fully powered down and the collet is released before inserting or removing the bur. Secure the shank fully into the collet to the recommended engagement depth before operating. Always use appropriate eye protection and secure the workpiece before beginning any material removal.
