The SGS PRO 16478 is a tungsten carbide abrasive bur in the SE-1L6 oval head configuration, designed for aggressive material removal and finishing on a wide range of metals. The double-cut tooth style produces fast stock removal while leaving a relatively smooth surface finish. With a 1/4-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 6.375 inches, this extended-reach bur fits standard die grinders and rotary tools used in fabrication, welding prep, porting, and deburring operations. The cutting head measures 0.25 inches in diameter with a 0.375-inch length of cut. Maximum operating speed is 55,000 RPM.

This bur is suited for use on steel, hardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, nickel, copper, and copper alloys.
