The SGS 77265 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding metal-cutting applications. It features a 3/4 inch mill diameter, a 0.03 inch corner radius, and 7 helical flutes with a close pitch and variable index geometry. The overall length is 4.5 inches with a 2.25 inch length of cut and a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. A TiN coating helps extend tool life during high-speed cuts. This tool is used by machinists and CNC operators in production and job shop environments.
The 77265 is built for finishing passes on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium, as well as hard materials. It is a single-end, right-hand cutting, right-hand flute tool from SGS Series 77C. The close pitch and 7-flute configuration suit high-feed finishing strategies where surface finish and dimensional accuracy are critical. It is intended for use with standard end mill holders.
Designed for use with standard end mill holders accepting a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Intended for CNC milling applications in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per UNSPSC category 27112803.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator familiar with toolholder torque specifications and machine setup procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before loading or removing the tool. Verify holder runout and tool projection before cutting. This tool is not center-cutting and should not be used for plunge entry.
