The SGS 70529 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision finishing operations in demanding machining environments. This single-end, 4-flute tool measures 0.1575 inches (4 mm) in cutting diameter with a length of cut of 0.9843 inches (25 mm) and an overall length of 2.9528 inches (75 mm). The 4 mm shank diameter keeps the tool compatible with standard collet systems. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting hard and exotic materials. The 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces during finishing passes. Micrograin carbide construction delivers rigidity and edge sharpness required for tight-tolerance work.
This end mill is intended for finishing cuts in materials classified under ISO workpiece material codes H, K, M, P, and S — covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, general steels, and superalloys. Its long-series designation provides additional reach for applications requiring deeper cavity work or extended projection from the holder.
