The SGS 66469 is a solid carbide screw machine length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding production environments. With a 23/64 inch (0.3898 inch decimal) diameter and a 135-degree split point, this bit starts on contact and reduces walking on flat or curved surfaces. The Ti-NAMITE-X coating provides enhanced wear resistance and lubricity, extending tool life in a wide range of workpiece materials. At 3-1/2 inches overall length with a 1.85-inch spiral flute, it is built for compact, rigid setups where stub-length reach is preferred over jobber-length reach. Cutting direction is right hand with a regular spiral and web-thinned point for reduced thrust and cleaner entry. Coolant-through capability supports high-feed machining operations.
