Ground from micrograin solid carbide, it holds tighter tolerances and outlasts high-speed steel in abrasive or hard materials. The bit is sized to wire gauge No. 57, equal to 0.0430 inches (1.09 mm) in diameter, with a 118-degree faceted point angle and a web-thinned, tapered web configuration that reduces entry force and improves chip evacuation. Overall length is 1.5 inches. This is a right-hand-cut, two-flute spiral design conforming to DIN 338 and intended for production or maintenance drilling where hole accuracy and bit longevity matter.
