The SGS 49160 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. Built to Series 16M specifications, it features a 0.0984-inch (2.5 mm) mill diameter with a 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration and a 30-degree helix angle. The stub-length geometry keeps the tool rigid and minimizes deflection during aggressive cuts. A TiCN coating improves surface hardness and lubricity, extending tool life across a range of workpiece materials. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.1181 inches (3.00 mm) in diameter, and the length of cut is 0.1969 inches (5 mm). This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry.
