The SGS 46856 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. It features an 8 mm cutting diameter with a 0.5 mm corner radius, four flutes, and a variable helix geometry that reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. The micrograin carbide substrate delivers the hardness and edge retention needed for both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. A TiN coating reduces friction and extends tool life across a broad range of ferrous and hard materials. This is a single-end, straight-shank tool from the SGS ZPMC series.

Installation Notes

Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing cuts, as micrograin carbide tools are sensitive to excessive runout. Do not exceed the rated depth of cut for the material being machined.
