The SGS 46561 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Built to the ZD1M series specification, it features a 4 mm cutting diameter, a 0.3 mm corner radius, and four helical flutes with a variable helix and variable index geometry. The AlTiN (TX) coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in abrasive materials. At 57 mm overall length with a 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank, this single-end, extended-reach tool is suited for both roughing and finishing passes in production CNC milling environments.

This end mill is rated for cutting cast iron and hard materials as primary workpiece materials, with steel as a secondary application. The short-length flute configuration at 5 mm length of cut combined with a 14.99 mm reach length and 3.61 mm neck diameter allows access to stepped or recessed features while maintaining rigidity. It is intended for use with standard end mill holders and is well suited for horizontal and vertical machining center operations where tight tolerances on corner geometry are required.
