The micrograin carbide substrate is coated with AlTiN (Ti-NAMITE-A), providing heat resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. The variable helix and variable index geometry reduce harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. A Weldon flat shank and single-end configuration make it a straightforward fit in standard end mill toolholders used in CNC machining centers.
