The SGS 43483 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Part of the SGS Series 33MC, it features a 12 mm mill diameter, a 30 mm length of cut, and a 1 mm corner radius. The AlTiN coating under the Ti-NAMITE-A designation provides thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. With three flutes, a variable helix, and variable index geometry, this end mill reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive roughing passes. It is intended for use in CNC machining centers with standard end mill holders and a straight-cylindrical shank.

This end mill is engineered primarily for roughing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium, with a secondary rating for hard materials. Its coarse pitch and right-hand helical flutes are suited to applications where chip evacuation and cutting force management are priorities. The 83 mm overall length and 12 mm shank diameter make it compatible with standard end mill holders in both horizontal and vertical machining setups. It is a single-end tool with no coolant-through capability, making it appropriate for flood or mist coolant delivery from the outside.
